Party Decorations

Decorations tend to be a must-have for any sort of party as they tend to embellish the venue with the glam quotient. Any party devoid of any decorations does not seem very inviting and alluring. When it comes to the celebration of a birthday party, the best way is to add the place with embellished beautification. Nowadays, one can easily get hold of unique and exclusive decoration supplies and ideas. Moreover, you need to put your imagination as some work, and lateralize some creativity in your decoration. Birthdays tend to be very special and come only once in a year. The party decor should be properly browsed through the internet, and the market should be searched to demonstrate your happiness and joy.

Tea Party Invitations

Tea party invitations can add a really nice touch to your tea party. They are not always necessary but if you are inviting a lot of guests or it is a special occasion then they should be sent out to your guests. They can be both an opportunity to showcase your artistic talents as well as providing a nice keepsake or memento for your guests.
If you have a theme for the party that you are planning to host make sure that it is incorporated into your invitations whether you are making them yourself or are having them designed by someone else. If you are planning to mail them out to your guests then you should send them two weeks prior to the date of your tea party.

Tea Party Decorations

The custom of having a pre-wedding gathering for showering the bride-to-be with gifts started in the 1890s and is now commonly celebrated in the US, Canada and Australia. Although everyone wants to do something unique at their party, budget acts as the main constraint. You could host a tea-party themed gathering and complement the bridal shower decorations with party favors. This will not only help you manage your money better, but will also contribute immensely to the aesthetics at the party.

Tea Party Recipes

You will want to make the house as pretty as possible. Fresh flowers are a must, use them everywhere. I had a birthday tea in early June & I put vases of peonies everywhere, they are beautiful. Use traditional vases, or teapots that no longer have lids. Sometimes you can find then for a bargain since they no longer have a lid! Use candles both tapers & scattered votives or tea lights. I use some of those fancy shaped Christmas light that are sold now in all kinds of shapes. I have some pretty heart ones & some flower ones & even some dragonfly lights ( those are for the fairy tea party - see my page on fairy tea parties) Play soft music in the background. There are even tea party music CD's you can purchase. For tablecloths try lace or damask. Scatter silk rose petals on your table. Use real linen or fancy paper napkins. I found some monogrammed napkins at an antique store in California last year. They were inexpensive I guess because not too many people have an "O" monogram.

Tea Party Baby Shower

Planning a tea party baby shower is the perfect event for a soon to be mother, especially in the winter months. Most people like tea, and you can offer different varieties from iced to hot, as well as sweetened tea and unsweetened tea. I find adding some lemonade or punch with ice helps as well.
The most important detail with a tea party theme is the tea sets. You can find tea sets at decent prices online. Try a Google search and many vendors will come up. For the party I hosted I purchased 5 sets of 5 tea cups. Each set normally includes a saucer and cup. For the plates I used pink plates for a party outlet store in town. You can find great prices on party plates online as well. There are many varieties and it is a nice touch to match the napkin colors.
The food to complement is normally finger food such as tea sandwiches, petite fours, and small plates. Do not go overboard. I have been to many baby showers were food does not get eaten. Baby showers normally start after lunch and most people at beforehand. There is always cake served, so do not spend a significant about of money getting a large quantity of food.

Birthday Tea Party Ideas

Little girls love to host a tea party. They often will serve tea to their best friends or stuffed animals dressed up with pretty hats and dress up clothes. If your daughter loves to do this, then a Tea Birthday Party is sure to be a hit. Here are some ideas for celebrating her special day.
You can make your own party invitations by using a tea set as inspiration. Cut card stock into the shape of a tea pot or a tea cup. Decorate the front with flower stickers to look like a decorate tea set.  Your daughter will love helping do this. Write the party details on the other side of the card. You will want to put who the party is for, when the party is, where the party is at, and RSVP details.

Tea Party Themed Birthday Party

It's a new year and time for new ages! Kids have always loved turning a new age and welcomed the idea of getting older. They love holding their fingers up and proudly proclaiming their age aloud. My niece, Avery will be turning three this year, and although she's not quite old enough to be choosing party themes, we definitely know what she likes... monkeys! But, I know as the years pass, her tastes will change, so I look forward to each birthday wondering what her birthday wishes will bring. Below, I have created a list of some of the most popular children's birthday party themes to help you in planning a fabulously fun birthday.

Kids Tea Party Ideas

Victorian Tea Party Ideas are the perfect party theme for girls. Don't you remember your own childhood tea parties? Mine were spent with a plastic tea set and a guest list of stuffed animals and dolls. I remember how serious I was when I prepared my tea table with care.
You don't have to use your good china for a kids tea party. You can dress your table up with the help of some paper doilies and pretty colored paper cups. Petite fours or mini cupcakes make a perfect dessert to go along with your tea.

Play Parlor Games
Parlor games are the traditional party game to play while having the girls over for tea. Trivia, charades, and musical chairs are all fun game ideas to keep young girls entertained.
